SiteMorph Website Accessibility Competition

To encourage website owners to think more about how they go about creating websites, we have launched our website accessibility check rank competition.

You could win a three month subscription to our tools by having the best accessibility score on the 31st of July 2012. The current top sites are listed below.

To enter our competition email us at accessibility-competition@sitemorph.net including your website home page address. We will then use our accessibility check analysis to rank your site in our competition.

How we Score Sites

Once a site is accepted into the competition we download a sample of the pages. We use the web accessibility checker library which tests for a number of issues based on the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines rules.

If you like the work we are doing to promote accessible websites for all why not flattr us to show your support.

We have added the sites of a few of the friends of SiteMorph to the list that have already been tested. These sites will not be entered into the competition. They are just included for illustrative purposes. We have also added a number of the major online retailers so you can see how things stack up. If your site is listed and you want it to me removed please email the competition email address above.

Terms and Conditions

• We reserve the right to select sites that are included in the competition.
• The scoring algorithm, while based on the library mentioned, may be subject to change at any time at our discretion.
• We will provide the site owner with a detailed list of the issues we have identified with their site upon request.
• The offer of three months free subscription is limited to the site submitted to the competition and is not transferable.
